About the service:
The Waikato DHB’s Radiology Department is growing our service to meet growing demand and is focused on creating a positive culture and great work environment for all of our staff. Tokoroa radiology supports South Waikato district and the Emergency, Outpatient and Inpatient Ward at Tokoroa hospital also providing a 7 day/24 hour after hours on call service. Overnight shared accommodation is available on site for on-call staff if required. About the role: We are searching for a Part-time MRT to work in one of the Waikato DHB Rural radiology departments. This will be based at Tokoroa. The breadth and scope of cases presented is remarkable with an interesting and varied case mix. Unique infections, indigenous health, rural health – Waikato has it all, and what some practitioners from other locations envy.
Required skills & experience:
• Full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and a current practising certificate
• Relevant experience
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills
