Ward 2 Cardiology and Haematology

Rostered shifts

 

Counties Manukau Health (CM Health) is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health delivery, working with New Zealand’s most culturally diverse populations. 

 

Ward 2 is one of our specialty wards, split between two specialties; Cardiology and Haematology.

 

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our cardiology speciality area which includes Coronary Care, Cardiac Step Down Unit and Cardiac Catheter Lab. 

 

We are also seeking Registered Nurses to join our Haematology team promoting and providing high quality nursing care for patients with malignant and non-malignant disorders of the blood.

 

You will need to be :

  • Patient focused and provide an excellent standard of nursing care. 
  • A good communicator and a team player. 
  • Able to prove active maintenance of your personal professional development
  • Keen and ready to expand your knowledge and experience
  • Able to evidence critical thinking skills
  • Able to reflect excellent time management

 

Essential criteria:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse 
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate 
  • Completed 1 year recent acute experience, post registration (Cardiology or Haematology nursing experience is an advantage)
