Counties Manukau Health Women’s Health Service has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse who is passionate about advocating for and providing women/waahine centred care.

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our supportive and passionate team who work together to make a positive difference to the waahine we serve, the communities we work in and to each other.

We promote compassionate waahine based healthcare, enabling equitable access for all women who require gynaecological elective and acute nursing care.

The successful candidate will be kind, compassionate and understanding towards women and have a desire to build knowledge and skills within a supportive environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm in caring for waahine undergoing all aspects of gynaecological care.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse with a special interest in Women’s Health, to become part of our team!

This is a part time fixed term role on rostered shifts, in our 15 bed dedicated Gynaecology Care Unit, with an education programme designed to provide an opportunity to increase your skill and broaden your knowledge in Gynaecology.

 

Essential

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse
  • Current Practicing Certificate 
  • 1 year experience preferred in Women’s Health, Gynaecology, Surgical or Medical Nursing
