About the service
The Bee Healthy Regional Community Dental Service provides dental services for children of the greater Wellington region from school and community based Dental Hub Clinics.
We welcome new and experienced Dental Therapists and Oral Health Therapists to our service and offer a full program of support for all new Therapists. You can also find out more about our service by visiting us at: www.beehealthy.org.nz
Our role
Our service has permanent full time and part time positions available based in our Porirua Dental Hub. As part of this role you will also be required to attend clinics at our Raumati Beach Dental Hub in Kapiti. A travel allowance will be paid for travel between the clinics.
We are seeking newly qualified as well as experienced Dental Therapists who are positive, forward thinking and work well in a team environment, and have friendly, empathetic natures with flexible attitudes.
Bee Healthy offers great working conditions in our new Hubs and strong clinical support including 1.1 dental assisting for all therapists.
About you
- Be registered with DCNZ and have a current APC, or if newly qualified eligible to apply
- Hold a current driver-s licence, as all staff are required to drive mobile dental vans.
- Diploma/ Degree in Dental Therapy
- Have knowledge of Infection Control procedures and practices
