Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
2DHB COVID response team is looking for a Vaccination and Testing Lead to support both the delivery of the agreed vaccination program and ensure the availability of testing throughout 2 DHB. This role requires the ability to navigate relationships both within the 2DHB and across PHOs and Maori and other providers. Excellent communication and relationship skills are required along with a drive to maximise the program outcomes.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The COVID 19 response team at CCDHB is part of the Strategy, Planning and Performance Directorate. It is responsible for oversight of the border (MIQF), testing program and vaccination program across Capital and Coast and Hutt Valley DHB. The team comprises a mix of individuals whom have been either seconded from other health roles or employed with specific skill sets in mind and thus the team has had a wide range of experience across several industries. In line with the program objectives of equity for Maori, pacific, those with disabilities, Rangatahi and the LGBTQI sector our team comprises leads who are responsible for these areas of our program
Moū - About you
This role requires someone who has experience in the establishment and operationalization of health services. In addition an understanding of how PHO-s and community providers operate and also how they link with the 2DHB as well as an understanding of the provision of health care in the community would be an advantage. The ability to work under time pressure and also establish strong working relationships is vital
