We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

As the Improvement Programme Manager your primary responsibilities will be to lead key improvement programmes that deliver significant sustained benefit in organisation performance including scope definition, justification, analysis, solution design, implementation and integration into the organisations management systems.
You will coach, mentor and train workplace improvement teams in improvement approaches alongside supporting the strategic planning processes to ensure plans are informed by data, prioritised and aligned to the organisation’s goals.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
We are seeking someone with a track record of success and at least 7 years of experience in applying improvement methodologies (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and Human Centred Design) plus project management experience.
You will have demonstrated leadership experience, a champion of positive change and always have our patients and whānau at the centre of all that you do.
You will have a relevant postgraduate qualification and a background in the health sector will be a distinct advantage.
