About the role:
Taranaki District Health Board is seeking applications from dynamic and motivated Registered Nurses to work in our acute medical wards. This is an exciting opportunity to work with great teams that are passionate about the care they provide in a supportive and exciting environment. There are two acute Medical Wards both have 30 beds (Ward 4a and Ward 4b). Ward 4a is typically our respiratory ward which is also our dedicated Covid ward. Ward 4b is for our general medical conditions including oncology, cardiology, renal and endocrine.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- At least one year acute medical experience.
- Ideally have New Zealand DHB / Private hospital experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Motivation and self-direction.
- Well-developed time management skills.
- Current APC
- Have the ability to manage acute medical patients (cardiology, respiratory, renal and infectious)
- Have an ability to integrate technology device and software into practice.
