As a Registered Nurse, we offer you the opportunity to join our highly motivated and professional team in Te Pae Tiaki |Emergency Department at Wellington Regional Hospital, where we can ensure that there is never a dull day!

This is not routine nursing. It is a fast turn-around, quick decision making environment, covering all adult and paediatric specialities, for instance General  Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, etc. We have an amazing team environment where new skills are learnt on a daily basis.

We are a level 6 Emergency Service committed to providing acute and emergent care to patients and their families/whanau within a multidisciplinary team. We aim to deliver high quality and safe care at all times.

Our service supports open, honest, communication and dynamic professional development of all teams. We pride ourselves on providing a high focus on staff education and have a strong research culture across our services.

Naturally you will bring to this role prior experience in an acute care nursing environment, and be accredited with the New Zealand Nursing council. 

An excellent communicator, you will have a positive, enthusiastic and proactive manner that instils confidence in patients and colleagues. Awareness of and sensitivity to individual and cultural differences is essential.
