An exciting opportunity has opened for a Management Accountant to work for the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board. The work environment would best be described as fast paced and high performing and we are looking to add an innovative Accounting professional to join the team. 

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us long term, forming lasting relationships with staff and clients alike.

Reporting to the Head of Business Partners, you’ll work within our Management Accountant Team providing financial insight, strategic and operational input as well as assisting with comprehensive and accurate financial reporting.

You will have the ability to work with Managers at all levels and building relationships will be integral to your success. It is crucial that your verbal and written communication skills are at a high level.

• Tertiary qualification in a Business Degree or similar
• Ideally at least two years’ work experience or post tertiary studies in a relevant field
• Think laterally and developing innovative solutions to problems
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others
• Cope with change in a complex environment
