About the role:
Working within our Corporate Procurement team, the Manager Supplier Relationships & Performance is a strategic and influential leadership role offering autonomy and ownership in a supportive, positive, and well-regarded team.
You'll have ownership of the Provider Management Framework, which is an important part of ACC's approach to engaging more effectively with our stakeholders. We will be looking to you to partner at a strategic level with providers as well as directly managing some relationships and performance of a portfolio of suppliers. You'll work closely with teams across ACC on key projects, offering new and innovative ways of delivering services and supporting objectives that help achieve strategic organisational outcomes.
This is your opportunity to really influence and deliver improved provider performance, trust, and confidence across ACC. In engaging with providers, you will play an active role shaping the New Zealand health and rehabilitation landscape.
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:
You will bring a positive approach along with excellent interpersonal, relationship building, networking and stakeholder management skills, along with people leadership experience. You will have solid business acumen and the ability to work strategically and influence outcomes. Your background should include:
- Experience developing and implementing supplier management strategies to meet key performance requirements
- Experience turning insights into initiatives to improve relationships
- Ideally, you will also have a tertiary qualification in a relevant commercial or procurement discipline.
