Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services – Mason Clinic, Pt Chevalier
Mason Clinic provides thorough, high quality clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for people with forensic mental health and intellectual disability needs.
We have a mix of ethnic identities and professional skill of staff. We acknowledge and respond to cultural specific needs within multi-disciplinary teams.
Taurawhiri will assess the cultural needs of Maori patients, communicate those needs to the multidisciplinary team, initiate contacts with family and arrange cultural interventions.
Applicants need to demonstrate competencies with Maori language, knowledge of tribal customs and values and have experience in Maori approaches to health care.
