Mō te tūnga | About the role
As one of Oranga Tamariki's Property and Facilities Managers you will be managing all property aspects relating to Oranga Tamariki's commercial leased buildings and homes in the East Coast (Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa and Manawatu regions). Experience in commercial leasing would be advantageous.
This will include response maintenance, planned maintenance and small value capital projects.

Key requirements of the role include:
- Proven commercial property management experience within a large organisation
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Passionate about making a real change to the lives of Tamariki and Children.
- Ability to communicate and present complex ideas in engaging and easy to understand terms.
- Solid understanding of financial data and support recommendations with quantitative data.
- Experienced in managing multiple contracts, supplier, and service level agreements.
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
- Have outstanding communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
