About the role:
 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategy Analyst with proven analytical and problem-solving skills for this permanent, full-time role.  You will be providing input into several priority projects to support the development of Immigration New Zealand’s (INZ) strategy.  This will enable the successful delivery of organisational goals, and outcomes, to ensure that the strategic capability is well designed, embedded and monitored. 

 

You will need to provide comprehensive analysis, advice, and document the requirements and impacts of the INZ strategy including risk mitigation, organisational health and performance, and customer insights.

Skills and experience required:
 

  • Proven Senior level experience of strategic analysis
  • Proven experience with impact analysis, tools, and methodologies, in a complex business environment
  • Experience with business strategy design, current state and gap analysis and identification of strategic risks, mitigations, and opportunities for organisational development
  • Experience of strategy work in a customer-centered organisation in the private or consultancy sector would be preferred. 
  • Microsoft Office suite and project management and analytical tools
  • Numeric ability with quantitative data
  • Excellent communications, self-management, and interpersonal skills
  • A high standard of report writing with a proven ability to clearly present analysis and ideas
  • Ability to work within a team environment and establish collaborative working relationships inside and outside the organisation.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Familiarity with project methods, preferably agile would be an advantage.
