Infection, Prevention and Control (IPC) Waitematā DHB

We have an exciting entry level opportunity for a RN with a commitment to and a passion for IPC to join the team and assist the CNS’s in improving the standards of care for patients. Experience in IPC is desirable but not essential

As the RN for IPC team you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of care related to pts with a known MDRO, assisting with audits and teaching sessions as well as exposure events and documentation.

You will be based at Waitakere predominantly supporting the CNS’s with projects and education as required - although there will be times where you will be required to assist at North Shore Hospital

As such the skills we are looking for are:

• People focus: Excellent personal skills such as communication,(both written and verbal), flexibility, attention to detail and ability to manage relationships positively
• Technology focus: Excellent IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
• Drivers License: Applicants must hold a current full NZ drivers license
