Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to join our senior nursing gastroenterology team working (a combined role) as Nurse Educator and Associate Charge Nurse Manager. The role will be split, with 0.4 FTE allocated to each role, a total of 0.8 FTE, however there will need to be flexibility with the FTE split as it will be dependent on the unit requirements at the time.
You will provide leadership across clinical environments and oversee the coordination of care to patients undergoing endoscopy, and be a key member of the Gastroenterology Team.

The successful candidate will oversee and provide education to the wider endoscopy nursing team and students, with a strong focus on the orientation and upskilling of nurses new to the service.
You would continue to grow your expertise in endoscopy, be actively interacting with education providers as well as the wider team to help maintain this specialist service
