Team Coordinator- Needs Assessor Service Coordination (Full Time, Fixed Term) Mental Health & Addictions, CM Health at Counties Manukau District Health Board (South Auckland), Auckland

Do you have experience working in Mental Health & Addictions? We have a wonderful opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Health Professional.

 

In this position, you will work alongside the Team Manager- Integrated care Adult MH&A with delegated authority to provide operational leadership and coordination to the team. You will coordinate the appropriate recovery focused supports required to enable Mental Health & Addictions service users to achieve maximum independence, and participate fully in society in accordance with their abilities, resources and goals.

 

You will be offering consultation, advice, mentoring and facilitation of evidence based practice. Also to coordinate the appropriate recovery focused supports between Non-Government Organization’s, Clinical teams and triage referrals from inpatient and community teams, as well as leadership and development of interRai.

 

Other responsibilities include contribute to the recruitment of staff, coordinate orientation, participate in their performance review and professional development processes as appropriate.

 

Working in this role will be rewarding in both personally and professionally. You will be supported by the interdisciplinary team that is focussed on optimal service delivery. You will also have access to on-going in-service education, and supervision provided by senior colleagues, and will receive a comprehensive orientation.

 

Essential

• New Zealand Registered Health Professional with a current Annual Practising Certificate and Professional body registration such as an Occupational Therapist or Social Worker

• Extensive experience working within a mental health environment

• An understanding of health, disability and illness issues

• Strong computer literacy skills

• Full clean NZ drivers licence
