Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The Construction and Innovation Group supports Kāinga Ora to grow its public and supported housing portfolio through the design and development of high quality homes that meet the needs of the community now and in the future, and by driving innovation across the construction sector.
The role is accountable for building, managing and maintaining external partner relationships to enhance reach, quality and alignment with our construction partners. You'll be working proactively with our external construction partners on a key account basis to promote communication between the partner and Kāinga Ora, ensuring Kāinga Ora's understanding of partner capabilities and suitability, and to improve the overall partner experience in working with us.

- Relevant business degree with significant related work experience
- Proven key account management skills and ability to engage and influence
- Knowledge of key stakeholders/suppliers both within and outside Kāinga Ora
- Collaborative and able to create visible value within the organisation
- Proven problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows environment
