Our busy and well-equipped High Dependency/Acute Assessment Unit (HDU/AAU) is closely co-located with our Emergency Department at Wairau Hospital. We provide a supportive and nurturing workplace to assist staff to meet the challenges of this diverse area, at the frontline of the acute health care service.
position will work across all shifts (AM/PM/night) Monday to Sunday. Shifts will follow an 8 hour, or 12 hour rotating roster cycle.

You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and will have post-registration Critical Care and/or Emergency Department nursing experience.
You'll enjoy the variety and challenge of a rapidly changing environment and will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, including boosters.
