Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
We are currently looking for Scrum Masters to join our Business Agility team based in Wellington and Auckland. The Business Agility function supports Kāinga Ora in the development of consistent approaches to our cross-functional work and collaboration, ensuring alignment to other programmes and practices and that our people are well supported.
As the Scrum Master at Kāinga Ora you will be helping maximise the value created by Scrum teams. You will facilitate the Agile / Scrum process while supporting and coaching Scrum teams. You'll optimise performance and encourage continuous team improvement and experimentation, ensuring teams work in the best way to help achieve our goals of build better, brighter homes, communities and lives.
As the Scrum Master, you will ensure that the project teams apply Agile/Scrum practices and values to achieve business outcomes. You will work closely with Product Owners, cross functional delivery teams, business and project stakeholders across the organisation and other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- An inquisitive, growth mind set
- At least 5 years' experience in project based environments
- Facilitated Scrum teams, including both employees and vendors in multiple locations
- In-depth knowledge of Agile techniques and experience supporting the development and implementation of new frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong influencing skills
- Great stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
