About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to work in Ward M12, a 27 bed general surgical ward caring for acute, trauma and elective patients. We provide care for patients from throughout the midlands region requiring tertiary level general surgery. This is a great area to further develop your surgical nursing skills caring for a diverse mix of patients. We are looking for someone who is, flexible, adaptable and willing to share their knowledge and skills.
Requirements of the role:
• A current annual practicing certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years post registration experience in an acute New Zealand hospital setting.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Some surgical nursing experience would be an advantage.
• Must be able to work rostered shifts, which includes nights and weekends.
