Are you interested in working with information, records and data management strategies to support the New Zealand Security and Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to have the knowledge it needs to keep New Zealand and New Zealander's safe and secure?
We are seeking an Information Management Advisor to develop and help maintain our processes and policies, ensuring we have information assets to deliver high quality security and intelligence services.
You will be a highly motivated person who has:
- Experience throughout the information lifecycle, in a digital context, and uses this to develop and implement information practices that support information as a business asset
- Knowledge with information management legislation and policy and apply this to support and guide others to create, hold and dispose of information properly and appropriately
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people and deliver complex messages with impact in writing, verbally or visually
Ideally, you will have 3 - 5 years experience in:
- An information and records management role in a complex business and customer focused environment, and
- Providing system support and advice to users to enable smart use of Electronic Information Management tools.

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
