Location:   Hutt Valley Hospital

Service:      Central Coordination

Contract:    Casual

Salary:        NZNO Meca - Step 1- Step 5 based on experience 

Hours:        Varying shifts - availability to be called at short notice 

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We have a number of opportunities available for Health Care Assistants (HCA - s) to work with us on an 'as and when needed' basis in our HCA Bureau Team.

We care for patients 24 hours a day so flexibility with shifts would be an advantage. As an HCA Bureau Team member you would be contacted and asked to work when departments need additional HCA support.

Moū - About you

  • Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant
  • Hold the NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3
  • Have the ability to work flexible rotating shifts
  • Experience in a customer focused service role is desirable

This is a great opportunity for those HCA - s interested in working in a hospital environment as you get to rotate to multiple areas of the Hospital. Our casual HCA Bureau Team members are offered the first chance to apply for any permanent roles that become available.
