Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital – Oncology Service
The details: Permanent Full-time, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE)
Waikato DHB is looking for a self-motivated and experienced administrator to join the Oncology Service.
About the role:
This role primarily involves booking First Specialist Assessment patient appointments for the Medical Oncology Service. They will also work as a back up to the Radiation Oncology Booking Clerk. Hours of work are 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in an exciting, demanding and challenging work environment.
Required skills & experience:
We are looking for someone who is:
• Organised, efficient and able to prioritise their workload effectively;
• Exceptional at customer service via the telephone with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented;
• Computer literate;
• Familiar with medical terminology;
• A positive team member.
Experience in a health environment or knowledge of clinical terminology would be an advantage, but not essential.
