Tupu Ora is the Regional Eating Disorders Service. It is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland region as well as specialist support to Northland and the Midland region. This is an exciting time for Tupu Ora as we will be integrating residential and intensive outpatient treatment options into our service.
This role focuses primarily on delivering specialist nursing care to adults in our residential service based in Parnell and you will be working under the supervision of a registered Mental Health Nurse.
As an enrolled nurse in Tupu Ora Residential you will work with a small case load of clients with serious eating disorders, supporting them to work towards their goals. You will also work within the multi-disciplinary team to provide collaborative specialist treatment to our client group.
As this is a 24 hour service you will need to have the flexibility to work rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends across Monday to Sunday.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
Mental Health experience is preferred in residential or inpatient settings. You will have a keen interest in eating disorders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a full clear drivers licence and a commitment to delivering high quality nursing care.
We welcome applications from experienced Enrolled nurses. You must have a current registration with the ability to work in mental health and a current annual practicing certificate.
