Where you’ll be working: Radiology department, Waikato Hospital
The details: Permanent, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), rostered
We are seeking a medical radiation technologist to join our CT department for a permanent position. We would prefer someone with previous CT experience but it is not essential to fill this role.
The radiology department has a staff of approximately 130 and provides a full range of imaging modalities including CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, vascular / interventional radiology and conventional x-ray.
You must:
• Have full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and a current practising certificate
• Have good communication skills
• Have excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Be committed to improving service performance
As a team member you will work primarily in the CT Department. The position involves working oncall duties including weekends.
