Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our child health team. We seek a highly motivated, energetic person who is organised and flexible to join us in our work with children and their whanau, and school communities across a continuum of personal health and public/population health. We provide personal health, health education and health promotion within our schools. The role is also part of some preliminary scoping for work in the the Early Childhood space. Adaptability will be essential
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Child Health Cluster have a number of specialities including school public health nursing, immunisation, vision hearing technicians and other community based public health nursing roles. The work is varied with no two days alike. You will be joining a group of skilled staff with extensive knowledge of practice. We offer a thorough orientation and mentor to support new staff.
Moū - About you
We seek a dynamic and flexible registered nurse with experience working in the community, and particularly, with priority populations. Your extensive nursing experience means you are adaptable to changing environments. Your additional skills in health promotion activities will be an advantage.
