Rotational Physiotherapist 1.0 FTE

Our dedicated, agile and supportive team are looking for a physiotherapist to help our service deliver optimum care to the Tairāwhiti community.
You will be joining our team as a rotational physiotherapist. As you progress through rotations you may be working in a range of settings: inpatient wards, outpatient clinic and in clients’ homes. You will be providing physio assessments and treatment to the people of Tairāwhiti. In our regional centre you will experience a range of conditions therefore a generalist physiotherapy skill set is highly valued. You will have a supportive and experienced team around you that share a vision of providing excellent physiotherapy care to the people of Tairāwhiti.
This rotational position exists to meet the demands and complexities of caring for the people of Tairāwhiti.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold current registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board

Have the ability to manage your time effectively
-
Have good communication skills
-
Have the ability to respond to need as it arises
-
Be able to ask for support as you need it
Gisborne's location is situated on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The region has a population for approximately 48,000 and is well known for its relaxed lifestyle and its beautiful rural and beach environments.
