The details: Permanent, 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)

This role will lead the inpatient unit and community nursing services at Taumarunui Hospital. The charge nurse manager is responsible for ensuring the nursing staff provide safe and effective care to meet the needs of patients and their family/whanau both as an inpatient and in the community. An essential component to this role is building and maintaining relationships with the community.
You will need to have the following requirements:

• Have a current NZ practising certificate
• Appropriate post graduate qualifications

Taumarunui is situated approximately two hours’ drive south of Hamilton, and only 30 minutes from the National park. The Ruapheu region is a dynamic adventure playground for those who love the outdoors, water sports, tramping, kayaking and cycling with easy access to the mountains for skiing. Waikato Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
