We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is an experienced vaccinator with current ARPHS Vaccinator Authorisation to be part of our team. This position requires experience and expertise in immunisation and patient education, and the ability to think critically and work independently, while being part of our dynamic team. The position will be based on Rangatira Paediatric Ward at Waitakere Hospital with strong links to the wider inpatient paediatric service, Planning, Funding and Outcomes team as well as the community, PHOs, NGOs and the National Immunisation Register.
Essential:
· Registered Nurse with New Zealand Nursing Council
· Current practicing Certificate
· Current ARPHS Authorised Vaccinator
· Ability to function at Level 2 RN within a community, acute or paediatric care setting
· A commitment to bi-culturalism in relation to the Treaty of Waitangi
