About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to work in Ward 14 (M14), the surgical ward for our Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular (CCTV) cluster. We provide care for patients throughout the Midlands Region, requiring cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. This is one of the largest wards in the hospital with 32 beds. We are looking for a nurse with previous experience in the New Zealand hospital system.
Key Requirements for the role:
• Surgical Nursing Experience, preferably in Cardio & Vascular surgery
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an acute care environment in a New Zealand DHB
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Current NZ work permit
• Must be able to work rostered shifts, which includes nights and weekends.
