Clinical Quality Coordinator, Fixed Term - Specialist Mental Health & Addiction Services at Waitemata District Health Board (North & West Auckland), Auckland

Are you ready to take on the role of Clinical Quality Coordinator working primarily with Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS)? The role is essential to support CADS with best practice in managing complaints, adverse events, risk management, and credentialing and audit processes. The role also provides an opportunity for you to apply your leadership, administrative and relationship skills to coordinate policy and process review and to supply reporting and feedback to the CADS’ Clinical Governance meetings.

As a member of the Quality and Improvement Team you will report to the Q&I Lead as part of a small team of experienced nursing and allied health colleagues, with a very strong focus around evidence-based clinical practice, standardisation and working towards equity of health outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you need to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant health field (eg, nursing, social work, occupational therapy) or a related quality qualification
  • More than five years’ health sector experience with recent clinical experience, or experience as a consumer of mental health services
  • Experience and/or qualification in quality assurance or improvement in healthcare
  • Driver’s licence
