Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
The Kaiatawhai - Health Liaison worker will work with the programme support and public health nursing teams to better meet the needs of patients and whānau with high health needs. The role will focus on supporting Māori, Pasifika peoples, Asian, the socially isolated, refugees and migrants to access Immunisation, screening, oral health and other relevant services.

You will have experience in working with communities with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of community development principles. You will have demonstrated networks with relevant stakeholders across the Top of the South and have specific experience in working with Māori. You will have the ability to use data to inform activities and measure progress.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, including boosters.
