We have multiple fantastic opportunities for Finance Analysts to join our Capability & Improvement team supporting the delivery of Waka Kotahi transport programmes.
The Team provides insights and reporting to support programmes and projects across Infrastructure Delivery and is a truly rewarding role. You'll be working closely with the project management teams to gather key information and insights.
We are looking for a passionate individuals who can support the team to drive better performance primarily through analysis and reporting but also through process improvements. You'll be a problem solver by nature but understand the need take a pragmatic approach. You will strive for clarity but also are comfortable with ambiguity.

With strong numerical and analytical skills and a preference for working within a collaborative environment, you'll also bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups to deliver outcomes
- Strong drive for results
- Experience in training and providing support/guidance to users
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, financial management, accounting or related disciplines or accounting qualification is preferred, but not essential
- Relevant financial experience, or experience in project management methodologies would be preferred
- A SAP certification or evidence of SAP specific study being undertaken would be advantageous
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
