Registered Nurse/ Tapuhi Rehita - Surgical Admission & Day Surgery Units at Hutt Valley District Health Board (Wellington), Lower Hutt

Location:  Hutt Valley Hospital

Service:    Surgical, Women and Children

Contract:  Permanent Part-Time and Fixed Term for 12 Months

Salary:      MECA Registered Nurse/ Tapuhi Rehita, Steps 2-7

Opportunities are available for Registered Nurses within the Surgical Admissions & Day Surgery Units to meet the increasing demand. This unit is part of the wider Perioperative department and is a fast-paced, quality driven, patient focused environment. There will be opportunities to expand and develop knowledge and skills across the specialised area.

Moū ' About you

  • Talk about the skills and experience you want from this person 
  • Current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Surgical Experience preferable
  • A high level of professionalism and communication, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work on a rostered and rotating basis 
  • Excellent crisis-management skills
