Te Puni Kōkiri is the Government's principal policy advisor on Māori wellbeing and development.  To do this, we must exert leadership and influence on the public sector system to enable and support the Government to deliver positive wellbeing outcomes for Māori.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pou Āwhina / Executive Assistant to join our Operations Directorate.  This function sits within our Regional Partnerships and Operations Puni and delivers programmes that support whānau, hapū, iwi and Māori communities to thrive. These programmes include Whenua Māori, Whānau Ora, Māori Wardens and Māori Enterprise.

As our Pou Āwhina, your primary focus is to provide pro-active, high calibre administrative support that positions our Director for success.  Essentially this means ensuring they are in the right place at the right time with the right people and the right information.  The Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (Tier 3) and has 9 direct reports. 


The appointment range for this role is $62,406 - $86,085 per annum.
