We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our dynamic team working at the Patient Information Service based at Middlemore Hospital. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday.
In this newly created role within our service, we are looking for someone who has experience with Dictaphone typing and previous experience word processing, whose primary role is to provide quality checking, to the Transcriptionist within Counties Manukau Health. The role would also provide assistance with projects relating to the Transcription team and training for existing and new staff.
In this role you will be required to;
- To ensure confidentiality of patient information by supporting CM Health and departmental policies and procedures.
- To be a Super User tester for functional applications.
- To ensure all tasks assigned are completed within the expected time frame.
The ideal candidate will need to have previous experience with word processing, ideally 2 years. Other important skills this role will require are attention to detail, working under pressure, an ability to work well in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can train either one on one or in groups when necessary.

The salary range for this position is between $65,624 to $71,792, dependent on skills and experience.
