This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology department at Nelson Hospital. You will be rostered on shifts rotating throughout the seven days, with no one working alone at one time. Our team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, MRI, CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography. 

Full time position working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0 FTE) across all shifts.  This is a temporary position covering parental leave for up to 12 months.

You will be registered with the NZMRT Board, hold a current APC, and you-ll be a positive,friendly  and supportive team player, with a sense of humour. 

To succeed in this role you will have:

• A sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography
• Well-developed communication skills and empathy. The passion to deliver high-quality healthcare
• The flexibility to work within a Monday-Sunday rotating 24/7 roster. CT experience an advantage but not essential.

For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 including boosters.
