The Customer Service Department serves Counties Manukau Health outpatient sites, including the Manukau Health Park, the Botany Super Clinic, Manukau Surgery Centre and Middlemore Hospital.
We currently have a part time position available working 24 hours a week between the hours 7:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. You will need to be available 5 days a week where cover is required.
Working in a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for dealing professionally, effectively and efficiently with inbound telephone calls, emails and text messages from
patients, caregivers and GPs. You will confirm, schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments as well as answering a wide range of customer enquiries.
You will need to be a motivated team player with a commitment to providing that next level of customer service and excellent communication to all callers.
- Intermediate level of MS Outlook, Excel & Word
- Reliable and punctual
- Minimum of 2 years Customer Service Experience
- Excellent English language skills both written & verbal
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of a hospital environment and medical terminology desirable but not essential

The salary band for this role is between $47,208 to $54,253 pro-rata, depending on your skills and experience.
