We have the opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Allied Health professional, recognized by their peers for their clinical expertise and leadership capability to join our dynamic, supportive and self-motivated team as a Service Lead. This permanent, full-time role will see you providing both clinical leadership and operational management to our Community Rehabilitation Services team.

- Contribute to the leadership and clinical governance of Adult Community Service
- A strong focus on service delivery and engaging your team in continuous improvement activities are critical to success

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As the ideal candidate for the role, you will have the following attributes:
- New Zealand Registered Allied Health Professional with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- 5+ years previous leadership experience in Allied Health and/or Clinical experience in rehabilitation
- Demonstrated ability to work at an advanced clinical level in a health environment
- Working towards or completed relevant clinical or management Post Graduate / Masters degree or equivalent
- A comprehensive understanding of the obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and a commitment to supporting equitable outcomes for Māori
- Able to bring together, balance and deliver the combined demands of quality, operations and business management through outstanding leadership and delegation
- Highly developed computer skills (e.g. can confidently construct pivot tables within Excel)
- Effective time management, flexibility, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Drive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Auckland District Health Board (Auckland DHB) is one of the leading healthcare providers in New Zealand offering a wide range of tertiary and quaternary clinical services to a large and diverse population. We have state of the art facilities and provide our services from three hospitals – Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Health and Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Within this service the team offer an Early Supported Discharge (ESD) programme for ADHB clients delivered at a similar intensity to inpatient rehabilitation but in a community setting. The client group is predominately those discharging from hospital following an acute event having experienced a significant change in level of function and ability to participate in their pre-existing roles.
