About the role | Mō te tūnga
An opportunity has arisen within our dedicated Ministerial Support team. This vibrant and supportive team provides services to the whole organisation with the aim of ensuring consistency and effectiveness of official correspondence and reporting across the business.
You will be required to proactively coordinate, support and facilitate the seamless delivery of support to the Ministerial Support team across Oranga Tamariki. To achieve the best results your work will be consistent, high quality and efficient.
What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
You will be an energetic high performer with the ability to work well under pressure, and to tight timeframes when needed while maintaining a consistent high level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proof documents ensuring they are clear and succinct.
Experience in New Zealand's public sector, Knowledge of the machinery of government and an understanding of the Official Information Act will be essential. In addition your knowledge and understanding of administration procedures and Project coordination will help to ensure the successful delivery of day to day work streams.
Responsiveness to te ao Māori, tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi will be at the front of mind in all your work as will an understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns including Pacific peoples' culture.
