Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our multidisciplinary team at Wellington Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as we develop our services to better meet the needs of young people (infants to 18 years old) and their whanau/family.
The team leader works closely with the operations manager and clinical leader to deliver high quality services to young people and their whanau/family.
The team leader takes an inclusive approach that promotes transparency and shared understanding with young people and whanau, within the team and our wider sector including NGOs.
The team leader will be committed to continuous improvement, relationship development and improving the experience of young people and whanau who use our service.
The team leader will have overall responsibility for the service in ensuring that day to day clinical, administrative, financial and human resource management of the service are carried out efficiently.

We are a passionate team with a commitment to providing excellent services for Pacific children and young people who have moderate to severe mental health concerns. Our team works across Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti, we are based in Porirua.
We are dedicated to improving access and outcomes for Pacific children, young people and their families. We work collaboratively with partner providers and families; to achieve this we operate within the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA).
