An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Regional Rangatahi Adolescent mental health Inpatient unit based at Kenepuru hospital. The administrator will support the most important day to day functions for our service users, whanau and staff. No two days is the same in our team, you will always be challenged but well supported.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Regional Rangatahi Adolescent inpatient Service is a developing team who value each other and the bicultural focus of the team. The team is multidisciplinary and is supported by a Kaumatua and a Kuia, the team uses a Maori health model to guide their practice. The team is committed to workforce development, continuous learning and service improvement. The team work collaboratively with whanau, the wider DHB and other stakeholders to provide quality culturally safe services for rangatahi.
Moū - About you
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and skilled administrator. You will be responsible for a range of different tasks from Mental Health Act administration to procurement. As this is a very busy role, it is important that you are highly detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills and have fantastic time management.
- Cover reception
- Mental Health Act administration
- Collating client hospital files
- Update calendars and schedule appointments
- Archiving hospital files
- Perform other administration duties such as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong typing and computer skills - Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- The ability to work well in a team
- Strong multi tasking skills and be able to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and effective time management techniques.
- Excellent prioritisation and administration skills
- Diligent and conscientious
- Solution focused
- Amazing sense of humour
