About the role

 

An opportunity has arisen to join CVST in an administrative role on a .4 FTE (16hrs) basis.  This role will be as a job share with a member working .6 FTE.

 

CVST operates throughout New Zealand encompassing125 professionals who work alongside industry partners to keep our roads safe through the prevention, education, engagement and enforcement of operators within the commercial vehicle motor industry, focusing on heavy and light motor vehicles as a workplace.

 

The Administration Support Officer will contribute to the overall performance of the CVST by providing administration support.

The position will predominately support the Area Three (Wellington/Central/Eastern) CVST, with an expectation that the Administration Support Officer will be able to work in any portfolio as required or directed, noting that training will be provided.

 

You will contribute to and encourage a high-performance culture that supports each other to perform at their potential and in doing so contributing to high trust and confidence in police.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Provide proactive administration support including proactive risk management to ensure the Team Leader is kept informed of issues and priorities and has the relevant information required.
  • Provide administration support to the wider CVST Area Three team.
  • Provide administrative support to CVST Intel Anaylsis
  • Develop a good understanding of the work portfolios and a thorough understanding of the priorities of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, proactively address issues, look for shared wins and outcomes.
