Join our exciting Rotational Physiotherapy Scheme at Middlemore Hospital!

 

Our Rotational Scheme can provide you with experience in a wide variety of specialties with core and advanced clinical areas including Cardiorespiratory, Acute Neuro, Orthopaedics, Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation Unit, Community Adults and Paediatrics, Burns & Plastics, Hand Therapy, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Inpatient Paediatrics and Spinal Unit giving many opportunities for an exciting array of assessment and therapeutic interventions over a 4 or 6 month rotation. This is a great opportunity to work with patients from diverse backgrounds.

 

Counties Manukau District is an approved training provider, we can offer full training and support from experienced senior staff, with each area having regular professional development opportunities. You will work closely with other team members in the interdisciplinary team and once credentialed, will be required to contribute to the on call and weekend roster.

 

You will be professionally supported by a section head and other experienced physiotherapists as well as the wider team. We are committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal/informal training. 

 

Essential:

• Registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board

• Current Annual Practising Certificate

• Full, clean driver’s licence
