To hear more about our culture view the video on our careers page. Te Whatu Ora Taranaki have an exciting opportunity in the ICT Services Infrastructure Team for a skilled Senior Operations Engineer.
The Senior Operations Engineer will be our first point of contact for all operations related matters in the Infrastructure space. Working with a group of knowledgeable and friendly Engineers, and a SQL DBA you will resolve BAU requests as they arrive or escalate to a subject matter expert. The primary focus will be with our on-premises solutions and infrastructure; however, we are currently developing cloud strategy, and the ideal candidate would have experience in both on-prem and off-prem infrastructure technologies.
There are exciting times ahead with several agreed programmes of work, including the development of significant technology refreshes alongside the commission of a large new hospital building. We will be looking improvements and efficiencies we could implement in the operational space.
From time-to-time, you may be required to work overtime however, this is generally kept to a minimum. The incumbent will be required to go on-call approximately once a month, which is recompensed separately to the salary for this role.
