Preanalytical Technician - Casual (Wairoa) at Hawke's Bay District Health Board (Hastings/Napier), Hawkes Bay

Casual – working as and when required

Based in Wairoa

 

We are seeking casual Phlebotomists who shares our values of He kauanuanu – Respect, Ākina – Improvement, Rāranga te tira – Teamwork and Tauwhiro – Care.

 

The position will be primarily based at Wairoa Health Centre, but with agreement, the appointee may also assist at any of our sites, in Hastings, Napier, and Central Hawkes Bay.

 

Preference will be given to an experienced and skilled phlebotomist, but training and support could be offered to the right person who is interested in learning phlebotomy as a career.

 

The role could be an opportunity to extend your skills if you are already working in the health care field.

 

You might work part time currently and are looking for extra income or just be generally interested in casual work, if so this role could be perfect.

 

To be successful in this role you will be a registered and experienced phlebotomist, or will have a genuine interest in working towards achieving this. Naturally you will be customer focused, with exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver a high-quality service.

 

Your responsibilities would include collection of blood samples, and some computer data entry.
