Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest ED's in Australasia. Now based in the new Waipapa building we moved into a new purpose-built ED, New Zealand's newest Emergency Department!
We are a 58 bed department, geographically divided into functional areas, and see an average of 110,000 presentations per year.
We are now able to expand our nursing team and have new Registered Nurse positions available. These roles will become part of our larger nursing team, which includes Clinical Nurse Specialists and Nurse Practitioners.

This is a great career opportunity for experienced nurses who are solution focused with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks.
Within the department we have a number of nurse-led and initiated treatments, therefore you will be a confident practitioner with exceptional patient assessment skills.
We have a range of professional development opportunities available to our nursing staff and support the local, national and international Foundation in Emergency Nursing, Triage and Burns courses, and TNCC and ENPC programmes.
