We are seeking Rehabilitation Assistant(s) to work
primarily within our Physiotherapy team and secondarily with our Occupational
Therapist team. You will be supporting and facilitating the work of the
registered staff to provide physiotherapy services to support patients and
clients to regain daily activities and routines. Service delivery is across community, inpatient
and outpatient services.
This role will suit someone with an interest in
movement and activity who is keen to utilize these skills to empower
individuals to achieve their best health outcomes. Additionally this is opportunity to work in a professional physiotherapy
The ideal candidate would have:
- Current New Zealand training certificate in patient care or relevant experience
- May have a relevant qualification and or be willing to undertake Level 3 Rehab Assistant training
Communication Skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to motivate and
educate people of the benefit of engaging in a therapy program
