Salary: Nurse Educator $97,699 - $107,341 pro rata

Wellington Regional Children's Hospital provides specialist tertiary level care for young patients requiring Medical, Surgical, Oncology and Sub-specialty care. Staffed by a dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. Nurses are an essential service to meet the needs of children and their families/whanau.
Te Wao Nui is the new children's hospital currently being built and is due to be completed at the end of 2022. We have an established project team of staff and experts to ensure this development is the best environment for the children. This new state of the art, fit for purpose facility will enhance the experience for everyone.
Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
Are you an experienced paediatric nurse, with an established comprehensive knowledge and skills base? Are you someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven critical thinking abilities? We're offering the opportunity for successful the candidate to develop their leadership and teaching skills to support clinical practice in the Child Health Service. This 0.5 FTE position is additional to the established full-time Nurse Educator role.
Moū ' About you
- A current Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum 4 years paediatric nursing experience
- Proficient level or above on the PDRP
- Relevant post-graduate qualification or working towards this
