The Clinical Engineering Department provides a health technology consultancy and medical equipment maintenance support service to all departments across the organisation and we are a team of 32 professionals. Operating between Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Super Clinic, we are looking for Clinical Engineering Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for the next generation of enthusiastic and talented clinical engineering graduate to join our team to start their careers in clinical engineering. Your primary function will be to perform scheduled performance and safety verification testing as well as preventative- and corrective- maintenance, under supervision, on medical equipment across Counties Manukau Health (CMH) sites and to support other Clinical Engineering functions. This is a full time position and you will operate from Monday to Friday at either Middlemore Hospital or Manukau Super Clinic site.
To be successful in this role you will need to have completed, or about to complete, your NZ Diploma in Engineering (NZDE) with Clinical Engineering specialisation (NZQA Level 6). Previous clinical engineering and/or medical equipment experience could be an advantage.
